Nukuteater

Since 1952, this children's puppet theatre in Tallinn's Old Town has been delighting audiences with it's playful, creative productions. With four staging halls of different size and surrounding, as well as an open-air summer yard, this theatre is impressive for its large scope and fantastic design. Populated by colourful puppets, the interiors feature the faces of actors on the ceiling lights and an enormous aquarium replaces one of the walls in the restroom. The theatre's repertoire combines puppetry and drama elements, sounds, shadows etc. while the last few seasons have witnessed a growth in musicals and various experimental projects. A delight for young and old.
