Any traveller who fell sick in Tallinn in the middle of the 15th century would in all likelihood find themselves at the Raeapteek - now the oldest pharmacy in Europe. Back then, it's a fair bet that leeches would have featured heavily on your prescription. Now, it's a modern, working pharmacy, that can dispense medication on doctor's orders and sell all the usual over the counter stuff - from headache pills to condoms. Inside, there's a museum dedicated to the history of the building, supplemented with some nice photographs and paintings depicting bygone Tallinn (not that it's changed an awful lot).
