More than just a gallery, Vaal aims to be a centre for the creation and development of art - and one only has to consider the numbers of students who have defended their theses within these walls to see that this approach is working.
The gallery spans both contemporary and classical Estonian art, offering visitors an insights into the development of visual arts in various media over a century and more. It's a place where new, upcoming artists can be discovered, and old masters can be revisited.
Open Tuesdays to Fridays, 12 to 6; Saturdays 12 to 4. |
