Estonian Institute

|
What is an 'institute' anyway? We're always hearing about these places like the British Council and the Goethe Institute - but what do they actually do? The answer is actually relatively simple. They are ambassadors of culture for the country they represent; hence the Estonian Institute's job is to promote Estonian culture as far and wide as possible! They do this by publishing books and internet sites, by organising special events, seminars and festivals, and by generally being helpful to anyone who wants to find out more about the beautiful land of Estonia. All-in-all then, it's about time you dropped in to see them! |
