Opening in 2006, Astoria Palace continues the legacy of this historic building as regal venue for sexy variety shows and cabaret, attracting a largely Russian crowd. The 1930s style interior adds a heap of class to the lingerie and runway shows, masquerades and other special events that Astoria hosts a few times a month. Apart from the much-hyped special events, however, there seems to be little happening here; maybe the older, monocled moneybags crowd isn't as alive in Tallinn as the owners anticipated. The idea is for customers to become club members, but so far Astoria is still finding its feet. A great venue to organise or attend a special event, but not the place for a casual evening out. Friday & Saturday 22:00 - 05:00. Admission 150kr.
