Herman Melville wrote a whole chapter about the mystical qualities of 'whiteness' in his classic novel Moby Dick - and the people behind the Stereo Lounge project certainly seem to have taken his ideas to heart. The almost exclusively white decor in this cocktail-cum-lounge-bar has a powerful effect, and first-time visitors could be forgiven for thinking they have wandered onto the set of a futuristic Sci-Fi film, or even into Heaven's very own ante-room (hey, God is a DJ, remember?). The albino environs isn't the only trick up Stereo's sleeve however. Sharp cocktails, eclectic grooves and waitresses in pressed white and red uniforms all hit the mark, making Stereo a popular choice for Tallinn's drinking community.
