Occupying the same building that once housed a Soviet disco in the 1950s, it's fair to say that things have changed here a bit since Stalin's day. Not that we can claim to have been to many Soviet discos, but we're pretty sure they didn't involve this kind of wide-scale debauchery... That was reserved for party members only. The trick lies of course in the free or discounted entry for ladies, meaning there's always plenty of long-legged beauties on the dancefloor. The boys arrive like vultures and hey presto one heaving night club coming right up. Good bar service, party tunes, plus erotic go go dancers have helped cement Venus's status as one of Tallinn's most popular venues.

Been there on a Saturday night, beautiful solid crap-pop, dance and some hip-hop you can dance to. The place was not really packed, but the dance floor was very busy anyway. It looked to me like majority of customers were Russian. Dress code is casual but girls make an effort to be sexy (and successfully so). I have seen a big girl with huge chest punching a guy in the face, until he managed to escape... it was hilarious (I am sure he deserved it, anyway). No clearly identifiable Brit or Italian stag parties, but a Russian hen party instead was there. Anyway, had fun dancing and got plenty of neck workout looking around ;)

Me and the lads have got lots of fond memories of Tallin and this place in particular. The Estonian girls are pretty special!
