This unique restaurant brings attention to perhaps Estonia's most famous painter, Michel Sittow, or "Master Michel." Occupying the cellar of a property beside Toompea once owned by the Master, this smart restaurant also operates as an exhibition space of the artist's works which grace museums across Europe, but are embarrassingly absent in the Master's hometown. The themed menu is cleverly held together by a common ingredient - the apple, whose presence in each dish creates a variety of exciting and original plates from different European cuisines. The complimentary fried apple chips are a real treat before you indulge in 'Normandy mussels in a warm apple-gazpacho broth' and move on to 'cayenne tuna fish with Granny Smith basil sauce, stir-fried truffle and mushroom fagottino' (for example).
