The unique decor, delicious food, good prices and stress-free atmosphere of African Kitchen have quickly made it one of Tallinn's most popular places to eat and relax. Nigerian chef, Paul Sunmola, has crafted an enticing and extensive menu of dishes from all over Africa including pan-fried antelope meat and frog legs with black eye peas in white wine sauce, as well as eight different kinds of rice (coconut, peanut etc.). The funky, colourful interior is bedecked with tribal art and has a loungy attitude (thanks in part to the smooth African and reggae music), while the upstairs patio is great on a warm day. A sauna is also available to rent with full bar and restaurant service. Recommended.

African Kitchen

Our kids favorite restaurant. The food is not quite as unique as it used to be; they have toned down the spices from years ago, but still very good. I like the mafe over rice.

Funky interior and unusual choice of food, well worth a visit, could do with some of this back in blighty...

Excellent Food - I would highly recommend the antelope and the banana beer. The service wasn't amazing but the waitresses were fit so we forgave them, how deeply shallow and perverse of us.
