The Maikrahv festival, or 'May Count' festival, dates back to the middle ages when the good Eesti people would get together for a big knees up to celebrate the triumph of spring over winter. Get into the party spirit by heading down to this upmarket restaurant on Town Hall Square, which flaunts a medieval theme as far as vaulted ceilings, oak tables, liveried 'servants' and iron toilet roll holders are concerned; but offers guests a more modern experience of Mediterranean and Scandinavian-inspired dishes, as far as food is concerned.
