Get ready for a marathon maritime weekend as Tallinn prepares to welcome dozens of sailing ships, taking part in the Tall Ships’ Race, as they cruise into the city’s harbour on 17 July.

The ships stopoff is giving the good citizens of Tallinn a chance to celebrate, nautical style, for the weekend with sailor-themed songs, dancing, sea-faring flicks, exhibitions at the Maritime Museum, kids events, boat trips and plenty of seafood and beer to keep every Roger jolly. The festival fun kicks off on the 17th with a jazz concert at the city’s passenger port.

The ships are all maned by young people and will be arriving from St.Petersburg Click here before heading onto Klaipeda in Lithuania.
