It's possible that us guys will never understand women's obsession with shoes. I mean what's it all for? We never look at a woman and think "Wow, she's got great breasts - shame about the shoes." Similarly we are unlikely to reverse our opinion about a Janet Street Porter look-a-like, just 'cos she's got new pumps on. Does this mean, by extension, that a woman's perpetual quest to look her best has got nothing to do with trying to impress us blokes... Surely not?
