Apollo Raamatumaja

|
Most famous for being the Greek God of the Sun, not many know that Apollo was also the God of Archery - dubbed by none other than Homer himself as 'the far-shooter'. Here in Tallinn, the immortal adds another string to his bow, becoming patron of the arts and presiding over one of the city's best bookshops. Of particular interest to non-Estonians is the decent-sized selection of English novels that Apollo stocks; perfect if you're planning an impromptu trip to one of Tallinn' beaches. Apollo also stocks a wide range of maps and atlases for budding cartographers out there, and boasts an internet cafe on the 2nd floor. The shop is open weekdays 10-20, Saturdays 10-19 and Sundays 11-17. |
