Vana Wiru

|
Set in a modern building in the Old Town, what the Vana Wiru lacks in nostalgia and romance it more than makes up for in luxury, service and location. All rooms come with satellite TV, telephone, free Internet access and a hairdryer, and slip a few extra Kroon in the bellboy's pocket (not literally by the way) and you can upgrade your suite with the likes of mini-bars, saunas and private jacuzzi. Nice. Common facilities include such cosmopolitan perks as a Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, and Mediterranean restaurant; whereas the 1950s, pseudo-Renaissance lobby is probably best described as 'unique'. |
