Metropol

Fresh from a revamp in 2006, the Hotel Metropol offers affordable upmarket digs just a frogs leap away from the harbour and not much further away from the Old Town. Comfort and cleanliness are bywords at the Metropol, with many rooms fitted with saunas and even jacuzzis, and gadgets like satellite TV and WiFi as standard. However only a Metropol employee would claim that character is another of the eight-storey buildings assets. That of course shouldn't deter anyone with a practical approach to their accommodation, and tired businessmen will also appreciate Cafe Berlin and Casino Maupao onsite.
